Restaurant Review- Casual Dining

Mi Casa

A recent casual dining restaurant I have gone to is Mi Casa, in Breckenridge. Mi Casa is the only mexican restaurant in Breck that my family goes to. I really enjoy it. It is a great place to go with friends and hang out. The overall ambiance is very welcoming and warming. It gives you the feeling of being in Mexico. During their happy hour they have frees chips & salsa and nachos. They also have $1 tacos.
I have gone there  for dinner before. When I was there for dinner, we had Queso Fundido as our appetizer. Melted mozzarella cheese with chorizo, corn, and mushrooms was served in a heated lava rock bowl. You put the cheese and chorizo on mini flour tortillas to eat it.
For my entree I ordered a chicken chimichanga. The overall taste was not very spicy. I like spicy food and this did not exactly satisfy me. Inside the chimichanga was shredded chicken, black beans, onions, rice, and peppers. A habanero pepper sauce was drizzled on top. Guacamole, sour cream, and salsa was served on the side. Along with rice and refried beans. I thought the overall flavor of the chimichanga was very good. I highly recommend going to Mi Casa whether its to hang out with friends, or for a casual dining experience.
